What it resolves

[J.215], Grant Cooper's 1953 obituary, named his two surviving sisters as "Mrs. Judson Sickle, of Glen Wild Lake, and Mrs. Frank Howell, of Newton" — and that entry recorded explicitly that which sister was which is not stated.

⇒ Cora is Mrs. Judson Stickle. She was ~23 in 1904 (b. Feb 1881, [D.554]), which fits.

Spelling. The index reads STICKLE; the 1953 obituary read Sickle. Both are recorded; neither is corrected to the other.

The elimination to SADIE is NOT airtight — do not treat it as settled

It is tempting to conclude that the other sister, Mrs. Frank Howell, must therefore be Sadie (b. Nov 1875). That does not follow cleanly, and the reason is in [D.553]:

Andrew J. Cooper had at least THREE daughters — Sadie (b. ~1876), Della (b. ~1877) and Cora (b. Feb 1881). Della vanishes from the record after 1880: she is absent from the 1900 household ([D.554]) and no fate is recorded. She could be Mrs. Frank Howell.

⇒ Mrs. Frank Howell = Sadie is possible, not probable, until a record names her. A NJ marriage index line for a Cooper bride × a Howell groom would settle it the same way this one did.
