Data from the document (row 11): - Name: Matthias D. Ross - Sex Male; Married; Age 72 - Date of death: 1892 [month/day partly illegible in crop] - Cause: Uraemia, following chronic interstitial nephritis - Occupation: Merchant - Birthplace: Hamilton, Ohio (= Hamilton Co. / Cincinnati) - Cemetery: Forest Hills [Boston] - Father: Ogden [Ross] — birthplace N. J. - Mother: Lydia Ludlow — birthplace N. J. ["]

Note (not on the document): primary-source-locks Matthias Denman "Denman" Ross [p.1007] as a son of Ogden Ross [p.1503] × Lydia Ludlow [p.882] — NOT a grandchild. b. ~1820 Hamilton (Cincinnati) Ohio (age 72 in 1892 ⇒ b. 1819–20, matches FaG [G.260] "1819"); a merchant; d. Boston 1892, bur. Forest Hills. Distinct from his nephew Denman Waldo Ross (son of John Ludlow Ross [p.1004], the Harvard art collector) — the two "Denman Ross"es are a conflation trap. This resolves L.4's "Denman (Waldron)" leaf as a genuine child.
