Deceased had been making his home with the Crawford family, since coming here from Decatur about two weeks ago. His demise is attributed to heart trouble.

Cooper was a widower and his only surviving near relative, is a son, Clint Cooper, residing at Joliet. The remains were taken to the George H. Peers undertaking establishment, where they were prepared for burial. Final disposition of the body depends upon instructions from the son, with whom communication has not yet been established. In case he cannot be located, it is the understanding that the local G. A. R. post will take charge and see that suitable burial is given.
