Death of Dudley P. Bonnell. A friend sends the following to The Press: "Dudley P. Bonnell is gone and in his going there is more than the passing of a dear friend; there is the putting out of a light; there is a brave soul laying down his arms. Bearing for most of his life a great physical infirmity, he carried his cross with a cheerfulness that was more than patience. Borne down in these later years by personal sorrows such as few suffer, his frail body finally gave way under the load that had never cast a shadow on his smile." Mr. Bonnell was to have started today for Colorado in the hope of finding help for the dread disease, consumption.
