Found-in-Ancestry-trees panel [low certainty — tree-builder data]

Per memory feedback_ancestry_family_trees_low_certainty.md, this section is treated as a research lead, not as evidence.

Tree-builder family structure (low certainty, must be verified): - Nathan I. Cooper (father; presumed = Nathan Cooper Sr. of Roxbury, d. 1788, per J.35) married Mehitabel "Hetty" Seward. - Sons (per tree): Brigadier General Nathan Cooper + Abraham Cooper (b. 18 Feb 1762 Chester, d. 18 Sep 1818 NJ). - Per tree, Abraham married Nancy Anna Wills. - Note: the J.35 1788 will of Nathan Cooper Sr. names sons Henry, James, Nathan Jr., Davenpoort — not Abraham. Either (a) Abraham is from a different Nathan Cooper Sr. (the d. 1797 one in Roxbury per the Ancestry results below), (b) the tree mis-identifies Abraham's father, or (c) Abraham was disinherited / pre-deceased and not mentioned. Treat as [?] until reconciled with the will.

A long sequence of Chester Twp. ratepayer entries for Nathan Cooper, paired (likely Sr./Jr. or two tax-list events per year):

Pattern observation: The same Sr./Jr. pairing structure documented for Hanover Twp. William Cooper (D.75-D.83) appears here for Chester Twp. Nathan Cooper, with the same 1800s-1810s tax-event pairing convention. Consistent — these are routine ratepayer lists. Two-entries-per-year may indicate June + August tax events for the same ratepayer (per D.79 finding) rather than two distinct Sr./Jr. ratepayers; the 1860 entry showing explicit "Nathan A." + "Nathan A. Jr." suggests by mid-19th-century the Cooper family did have an explicit father-son Sr./Jr. pair in Chester.
