The cooper datum
Israel Cooper: one mortgage (1845, from Geir), none later. John Cooper: lot 7 Mexico mortgaged to McCullough (1846) and to John Goodman (1847?).
What this document does not say
Anything beyond the index line; the mortgages themselves (vol. 1 pp. 122, 206) were not opened. The C-S block is read (see c_s); the C-G (George) block, pp. 62-65 (images 63-64), was scanned at orientation scale (~0.35x) in both directions and shows no Cooper - a scan, not a 2x read.
