Note (not on the document): This is the source that corrects the parentage of [p.1036] — Oliver Cooper Ludlow is the son of Stephen Decatur Ludlow [p.1520], NOT our Stephen [p.883]; the death cert's "mother Cursey" = Kersey. The tree itself carries the two-Stephens conflation: it lists our Stephen's son Omer T. Ludlow [p.1516] (1847–1921) as Oliver Cooper's half-sibling — an error (Omer T. belongs to our Stephen of Dearborn Co.). Ancestry-tree tier (secondary, user-built) — but the Stephen-Decatur + Kersey parentage is corroborated by the death cert [F.204] + the 1850/1860 Shelby Co. censuses on disk.
