What this document records

The on orbit find

§1a IS WHAT THE SWEEP WAS FOR. Richard Runyon of Morris Co. — will 21 Aug 1775, codicil 3 May 1777, proved 13 May 1777, Lib. 18 p. 537 — has Daniel Cooper as a codicil-witness AND an appraiser, serving with Peter Layton. Peter Layton is the tell. He appears beside a Daniel Cooper in [A.83]'s 1763 Bouttenhouse appraisal and as a "friend" executor in the 1769 Jacob Carl will — the same pairing, a decade apart, in the same county. The abstract says "Daniel Cooper" with no Sr or Jr, so which man it is remains open, exactly as it does at [A.83].

The coryell van court cluster

§2 gathers the Coryells and Van Courts in Somerset: Abraham Coryell, farmer, administering John Bush Jr's intestate estate (1777); and Sarah Coryell, Michael and Elias V. Court witnessing Hendrick Fisher of Bridgewater's 1779 will. Michael and Elias Van Court witnessing together is a [pr.8] datum — two sons of Anne (Cooper) Van Court on one instrument.

It re confirms the coriell liber

§4b independently gives David Coriell's will as Lib. 21, p. 213 — which is the citation [A.103] carries and the one [A.73] got wrong by taking the line above. Three readings of the same volume now agree.

The out of scope sections

§§5-6 are disambiguation — Gloucester and Camden Quaker Coopers, Roxbury, Burlington, the Bergen Dutch, Long Island — plus one-line witness and appraiser occurrences. Text-layer only.

Four families keys were removed

A families: [fam.1, fam.2, fam.3, fam.15] key was removed 2026-09-01 — four family attributions on one entry, for different people in different sections; see reference_entry_link_types, rejected kind 8.
