It is indexed under her maiden name as her sisters was
FILED UNDER COOPER, NOT KINNEY - the second time in one day that a daughter of Roderick Byanton Cooper has been found only because the search was run on the maiden surname. [C.171] was the first. THE PATTERN IS WORTH CARRYING: for a married Cooper woman in this collection, search COOPER.
What it establishes
A DATE AND A PLACE for a marriage the catalog had only as a line in a contributor's bio. Before 2026-10-24 the only source for this couple was the sentence "daughter Margaret Luella m. Albert P. Kinney" on her father's memorial ([G.512]).
The age is a year light
The index gives her age as 21 and derives "abt 1871". Her memorial ([G.693]) gives her birth as 2 September 1870, which would make her 22 on 26 December 1892. A one-year drift in a stated age, and the same size of drift as on her sister's entry ([C.171], which made Ida 20 on what would have been her twenty-first birthday). Recorded, not resolved.
No parents in the index
