Bio, as given on the memorial:

From The History of Morris County, New Jersey, This published by W.W. Munsell & Co., 1882, Chapter 31, Pages 260-264. "Let us look at another of these ancient worthies. The parents of Daniel Cooper emigrated from Holland to New York in the year 1695." This apparently is a brother of Daniel Cooper. Long Hill, Morris, New Jersey with the Cooper family. Born at the old homestead in Passaic valley,Morris County - near what is now called Millington. Married Magdeline and they resided on a farm on Long Hill, Morris Co, NJ - near Stirling station on D-L & W-R-R and adjoing the farm now (1907) occupied by the family of Alexander Cooper, son of Peter Cooper, son of Daniel Cooper, Jr. On Sept 28, 1793 the Executors of John Cooper deeded 1/4 of water power and grist mill to Daniel - John's son - so that it would appear that he had also engaged in milling. Contributor: Karen Hanna - [email protected] The Cooper stones are now located at Cooper Family Memorial Park. Thank you to Guy Roshto for taking the photos of the graves for Old Cemetery and Thanks to Kelly Roshto for sharing them with me.
