DAR Lineage Book (NSDAR) Vol. 115 (1915) — Miss Jane E. Peer, National No. 114932 — Bonnel + Burnett lineage. Establishes the paternal-Bonnell ancestry of Alfred Bonnell [p.1543] (husband of Henrietta Cooper [p.788]): Enos Bonnel (1776–1859) × Rachel Ball ← Benjamin Bonnel Jr (b.1749) × Hannah West ← Benjamin Bonnel (Rev. soldier) × Rachel Van Winkle (1744).
Transcription and notes
Maintainer-supplied (Ancestry "North America, Family Histories" → Daughters of the American Revolution → Lineage Book : NSDAR : Volume 115 : 1915). The applicant descends through the Elam-Williams-Bonnel brother-line, but the record fixes Enos Bonnel's dates + ancestry — Enos being the father of Alfred Bonnell [p.1543] (per Littell [I.4] p.47), husband of Henrietta Cooper [p.788].

Notes (analysis → people/name files)
- The Bonnell paternal line (← = child of): Benjamin Bonnel (Rev. private, m. 1744 Rachel Van Winkle 1723–98) → Benjamin Bonnel Jr (b. 1749, m. 1770 Hannah West) → Enos Bonnel (1776–1859, m. 1797 Rachel Ball) → Alfred Bonnel (1805–1900, m. Henrietta Cooper [p.788]) → the gen-5 Cooper-Bonnell children. (Elam Williams Bonnel, 1800–91, the DAR applicant's ancestor, is Alfred's elder brother = Enos's son #3 in Littell [I.4] p.47.)
- Enos dates 1776–1859 match the [D.431] census (Enos age 74 in 1850 → b. 1776 ). Rachel Ball is given d. 1844 here, yet a "Rachel," 75, is alive in Enos's 1850 household ([D.431]) — a conflict to resolve (a 2nd wife also named Rachel, or an erroneous DAR death year). (The applicant's own brother-line dates are not independently checked.)
- The deeper Bonnell ancestors (the two Benjamins, Nathaniel 1st per Littell) are out-of-Cooper-line; logged at [name.456] only.
