Opened on 2026-10-25: (a) collection 61376 record 900415235 - "New Jersey, U.S., Marriage Records, 1670-1965", her marriage; (b) collection 61260 record 69562 - "New Jersey, U.S., Death Index, 1848-1878, 1901-2017", the state registration of her death. Its image was downloaded, filed and read. The third, the 1900 federal census (7602 / 76918957), was NOT opened - it is reached from the other side as [D.654] and remains index-tier.

Result: (a) THE MARRIAGE IS DATED: 15 Nov 1898, Andover, Sussex Co. - Luella Sergeant, 17, b. abt 1881, spouse Alfred A. Cooper, film 004211081. Both this file and Alfred L. Cooper had carried the marriage with no date at all, and it was an open gap on the sweep worklist for both. The row is index only, no image served, and it carries NO PARENTS - so the hope recorded in this file on 2026-10-24, that "the marriage record would carry both parties' parents - which is the only route left to Enos Sargent", is disappointed. That route is closed. (b) THE DEATH INDEX IS NEARLY EMPTY. The row is Ella Cooper, 1901, New Jersey and the image - the "Index of Deaths in New Jersey" volume - has only two ruled columns, NAME and NUMBER. No date, no county, no age.
