Reading notes
Robert M.'s receipt omits the word "dollars" after "seventy eight". The witness to Robert's receipt reads "J [S?] Cooper"; the middle initial is not certain. George M.'s acknowledgment day is written as a numeral and is not clear; the other three 1854 acknowledgments say "ninth day of June". Image 426 (pp. 453-454) was viewed for continuation and holds no Cooper receipt. The volume's own front index was not consulted, so other receipts on this estate elsewhere in the volume are not excluded.
