| On-disk file | (image held in the family archive) (809 pp; full OCR text layer) + alt scan (image held in the family archive); also (image held in the family archive) |
| Cooper index pages | Grooms + Cooper-brides on the alphabetical "Cooper" pages (≈ PDF p.204-205); reciprocal spouse-surname entries scattered (Manning p.~?, Davison, Wick, Marsh, etc.) |
| Transcription basis | The printed alphabetical index (name, residence, spouse, residence, year). OCR readings; idiosyncratic period spellings preserved with [sic]/[OCR?] where the scan is garbled. Month/day appears only for some entries in the body lists (e.g., Daniel × Grace Manning "1768 Mar. 11"). |
Note on the index structure: every marriage is double-entered (once under each surname). The list below collapses each marriage to a single row, taken from the "Cooper" side; the reciprocal "spouse-surname" entry is cited where it adds a date or confirms residence.

Catalog significance (interpretation — not data bullets)
- Providence Cooper × Joseph Manning (1768) is the primary-source marriage record for Daniel Sr's daughter Providence — previously known only as "Providence Manning" (married name) from the A.9 1791 will. It also documents a double Cooper↔Manning alliance in Morris in 1768 (Daniel Sr himself married Grace Manning that March).
- Mehitable Cooper × William Davison (1770) primary-source-resolves the husband of p.572 (Abraham 1762-1818's sister) = William Davison, m. 1770.
- The two Nathan Cooper of Morris marriages (1749 Marsh — corrected from a prior "1740" misreading — + 1751 Dickenson) + Elizabeth Cooper × Henry Wick Jr (1760) are fam.2/fam.1 Morris-Cooper data, identity-open. The 1749 date puts the Marsh marriage one year after Nathan Cooper II's documented 1748 Mehitabel-Seward marriage (see name.173 for the two-Nathans-in-Morris question this raises).
- The remaining ~24 are fam.3 Gloucester / Monmouth / PA Coopers — recorded here as the name-occurrence record (no separate name files created for the one-shot fam.3 brides/grooms; see Distribution note).
Distribution note (no silent caps)
- Distributed to people files: p.1 (Providence + Daniel Sr/Grace), p.572 (Mehitable × Davison), p.79 (Daniel Jr/Hankinson).
- Name-file occurrence bullets added: name.173 Nathan Cooper (the 2 Morris Nathans); name.7 James Cooper (the 2 James).
- Recorded in-place here only (not given individual name files): the fam.3 Gloucester + Monmouth + Bucks/Bristol-PA one-shot grooms/brides above. This C.36 table IS their catalog occurrence record; promote to name/people files if any becomes an active research target.
