- The father = Daniel Cooper datum matches BOTH Dawn Premock's tree chain ("Joshua → Daniel") AND p.154 Daniel Cooper of Newton, whose 1768 will ([A.58]) named a son Joshua [p.157]. Source-provenance: FamilySearch Film 007579140 = "Card index to marriage records: 1670–1980, compiled by the [Gloucester County Historical] Society" (Woodbury NJ; filmed by GSU 1988; "compiled from several types of records both primary and secondary") — an index, medium confidence.

"HP / p.103-2 / 1782-2-21 / STOKES, Abigail: dt of Jacob, Glouc. Co., N.J. / m / COOPER, Joshua: at PM Had[donfield]"
⇒ confirms the marriage was a Quaker union solemnized at (Preparative/Particular Meeting) Haddonfield — squarely [fam.3] Camden NJ Quaker territory. The couple's 9 children are in the Haddonfield birth register, F.220.
Candidate death record for the groom [desc]
- Philadelphia, PA Death Certificates Index 1803–1915 — "Joshua Cooper," b. abt 1745, d. 6 Feb 1825 Philadelphia, age 80 (FHL Film 1905409; from Phila. Board of Health death registers). UNCONFIRMED as this Joshua — but a Quaker Gloucester→Philadelphia move + b. ~1745 is consistent (would make him ~23 at his father's 1768 will, ~37 at the 1782 marriage). (Distinct from a different "Cooper, Joshua / German Luth. / d. Nov 4 1819 age 28" also in the Phila. death registers.)

- Which Joshua Cooper this is — probable = [p.157] Joshua son of Daniel of Newton [p.154] (father Daniel + fam.3 Gloucester Quaker + Haddonfield all align). Their son was Joseph Ellis Cooper [p.1608] (fam.3, m. Mary Scull) — a namesake, NOT our Warren [p.112] (resolved 2026-07-08 via [I.185]).
