The two are recorded as they stand; one clerk has dropped or added a word. The grantee description names the grantor's land sold the same day to Robert Gaston — cf. [A.9], Daniel Sr's will, naming his daughter "Rosanna Gaston (wife of Robert Gaston, Esq.)".
🔑 what the four deeds show together
Read in order, the sixty-acre Long Hill lot passes Daniel Cooper Senior → John Cooper (1778) → seized for John's estate's debt and sold by the sheriff to his widow Magdalen (1787) → Magdalen → Daniel and Solomon, as tenants in common (1787) — and the brothers partitioned it between themselves by the mutual quitclaims of September 1793 in [K.92]. Daniel Cooper Sen[r] separately conveys the brothers a further parcel in August 1787, witnessed by Elias Coriell (one of [A.9]'s executors), Charity Cooper and George Cooper. The whole run was recorded together in January 1793.
Transcription and notes
Four deeds recorded together in Morris Deed Book B in January 1793. They carry the sixty-acre Long Hill lot from Daniel Cooper Senior to John Cooper, through a sheriff's sale for John's estate's debts to his widow, and on to his sons Daniel and Solomon; and a separate 1787 grant by Daniel Cooper Senior to the same two sons, witnessed by Elias Coriell, Charity Cooper and George Cooper. The sequel is [K.92].
