Result: RUN AND PRODUCTIVE, THOUGH IT CORROBORATES MORE THAN IT ADDS. His death - 11 Jul 2004 - was already on this file from his obituary [J.412]; SSDI, the SSACI and the U.S. Obituary Collection all agree, so that date is now multiply attested rather than resting on one notice. AND THE OBITUARY COLLECTION ROW NAMES HIS PARENTS OUTRIGHT: "Leroy Cruver; Elsie Cooper Cruver" - i.e. Leroy Cruver and Elsie (Cooper) Cruver - which independently confirms the Cooper line into this family. It also carries a relative "Anita" and a marriage in 1952. NEW, all index-tier and none of it opened: · Baptism 13 Apr 1924, Upper Mount Bethel, Northampton Co., Pa. (Pennsylvania and New Jersey Church and Town Records) - three months after his birth. · Marriage 15 Jul 1945 at the "MCAD Chapel" - Marine Corps Air Depot, Miramar - as Corporal Milton C. Cruver, father Leroy W. Cruver (Evangelical Lutheran church records, and twice in the Newspapers.com marriage index). Note the obituary's 1952 marriage: either he married twice, or one of the two dates is wrong. Not resolved. · Pennsylvania WWII Veteran Compensation Application - b. 13 Jan 1924 Portland, resident 27 Apr 1950 at Flagstaff, Coconino Co., Arizona. · Arizona Voter Registrations, 1950, Flagstaff; later Cottonwood, Arizona, and a 2002 phone directory giving a spouse Sophie. · Numerous U.S. Marine Corps Muster Rolls rows. ⇒ The arc is Portland/Upper Mount Bethel, Pa. → the Marine Corps → Flagstaff by 1950 → Cottonwood, Arizona → death 2004. Still not found: a Find a Grave memorial (the 2026-10-04 search was null; the Arizona veterans' cemeteries suggested on the todo were not tried).
