Year Book of The Holland Society of New York 1913 — Bergen Book — full transcription of Bergen Reformed Dutch Church baptism register 1666-1788, FULL Cooper / Kuyper / Cuyper / Claesen attestations: Generation-2 children of Claes Jansen Van Permerend documented as adults at Bergen DRC 1689-1700 (Cornelis Claesen + Aeltje Bogert; Treyntje Claes wife of Tonis Roelofse; Pietertje Claes wife of Jacob Ralemont; Merritje Claes wife of Gerbrant Claesen; Jan Claesen Y.M.); widow Annetje Cornells van de Voorst (= Ann Van Vorst, widow of Claes Jansen) as baptism witness 1695-1697; Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker documented with 4 children at Bergen DRC 1695-1698 (Jacob May 1695, Claes Nov 1696, Annetje June 1698, plus 4th child name unclear in OCR at entry 278) — supports working hypothesis that Jan = John son of Claes Jansen Van Permerend = candidate father of Daniel Cooper Sr 1695, but NO 'Daniel' baptism appears among Jan + Treyntje's attested Bergen children. Per [L.13s](../L-FamilyTrees/L.13s.yaml), Trintie Stratemakers + Jan Klase Kuyper relocated to Tappan and Jan d. before Sept 1706 → Daniel-Cooper-Sr-search now pivots to Tappan DRC + Hackensack DRC baptisms 1700-1706. Plus [I.49](../I-Published/I.49.yaml) catalog of Generation-3 Cooper baptisms 1712-1770 (Hendrik Klaasen Kuyper + Jannetje Verkerke; Catryntje Kuypers + Gerret Mattheeussen; Eliezabet Kuypers + Willem Sickels; Catrina Kuyper + Gerret Nieuwkerk; etc.).
M.1: Year Book of The Holland Society of New York 1913…Transcription and notes
[high certainty for the printed baptism transcripts (typeset 1913); medium-high certainty for surname identification of Generation-2 Cooper-family individuals where the Klaasen / Claesen patronymic is explicit; medium certainty for the working-hypothesis chain Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker = candidate parents of Daniel Cooper Sr 1695]

v189 corrections via rootsweb chronological extract ((image held in the family archive))
The companion rootsweb-style extract of the same Year Book 1913 register, in chronological order with cleaner OCR, surfaces FIVE pre-1689 baptisms of Claes Jansen × Annetje Cornelis children directly + corrects one OCR misreading from the Year Book PDF transcription below.
Pre-1689 baptisms — children of the patriarch Claes Jansen × Ann Van Vorst at Bergen DRC
| Date (bp.) | Child | Witnesses |
|---|---|---|
| 10 March 1667 | Lysbet (= Elysabet/Elizabeth) | Pieter Jansen + Geertje Dircks |
| 22 April 1676 | Hendrick (= Henry) | (none recorded) |
| 21 July 1678 | Geertje | (none recorded) |
| 11 October 1680 | Jacob | Elyas Magielse + Tryntje Claes (= his older sister Tryntje Cooper) |
| 4 December 1682 | Hellegont (= Hellegond) | (none recorded) |
CRITICAL FINDING — Harvey 1900 I.49 patriarch's 15-children list is INCOMPLETE. Three of the five Bergen-baptized children of Claes Jansen × Ann Van Vorst are NOT in Harvey's roster ("Cornelius, John, Claes, Dirk, Henry, Vroutie, Tryntie, Divertie, Pietartie, Janetie, Grietie, Maritie, Hellegond, Judith, Cornelia"):
- Lysbet (1667) — NOT in Harvey's list
- Geertje (1678) — NOT in Harvey's list (but appears as "Geertje Klaas Kuyper" Y.D./Y.W. witness 1699 + 1704 + 1712 — confirming she lived to adulthood and married/maintained surname Kuyper)
- Jacob (1680) — NOT in Harvey's list
Harvey's list MATCHES at: Hendrick (Henry) 1676 + Hellegont (Hellegond) 1682.
The remaining 13 Harvey-listed children must have been born at Brooklyn or NYC before Claes moved to Bergen ~1656 — consistent with Harvey's narrative that Claes first stopped at Brooklyn and married 1st wife Pietartie Brackhoengie there, before removing to Bergen and marrying 2nd wife Ann Van Vorst 11 Nov 1656. The 5 Bergen-baptized children would all be from the 2nd marriage — though Harvey says "He had issue ... in all fifteen" with the 2nd wife. The arithmetic doesn't fully reconcile (15 children with Ann + 5 attested at Bergen = 10 children born elsewhere or pre-Bergen), suggesting either Harvey's list or the implication that all 15 came from the 2nd marriage is imprecise.
Plus a 6th likely child identified via adult-attestation patronymic-only: Adries / Andries Claesen active 1687-1694 (married Preyntje Michielse Vreelant; daughter Sara b. 1691) — Adries is NOT a Bergen-baptized child of Claes Jansen × Annetje Cornelis (no entry found in 1666-1688 baptism roster) and NOT in Harvey's list. Either he was born before the Bergen DRC register started in 1666, or he is from a different Claes-family. Open identification question.
Plus a 7th likely child identified via adult-attestation: Vroutje Claes m. Gerrit Steynmets — children Jannetje (1684), Annetje (1686, b. 25 June), Annetje (1688, sponsored by Annetje Cornelis = the matriarch). The 1688 Vroutje × Gerrit Steynmets baptism with Ann Van Vorst as witness confirms Vroutje was Ann's daughter = matches Harvey's "Vroutie" on the patriarch list. CONFIRMS Vroutie's marriage (Harvey didn't name her husband).
Correction — Jan Claesen × Tryntje Straetmaker had only 3 children at Bergen DRC (NOT 4 as the Year Book PDF OCR appeared to suggest)
The chronological rootsweb extract is unambiguous on this — the entries for Jan Claesen × Tryntje Straetmaker are exactly:
| Date (bp.) | Child | Footnote |
|---|---|---|
| 14 May 1695 | Geesje (b. 26 March 1695) | (= 1st child + 1st daughter) |
| ~Nov 1696 | Claes | (2nd child + 1st son) |
| ~June 1698 | Annetje | (3rd child + 2nd daughter) |
The Year Book PDF entry 281 ("Jacob bo. May 11 1695") that I previously read as a 4th child of Jan Claesen × Tryntje Straet was an OCR misreading. The rootsweb chronological extract has NO Jan Claesen × Tryntje Straetmaker → Jacob entry in May 1695. Year Book entry 281 must have been a different couple whose parent column was OCR-merged with Jan Claesen + Tryntje's name on the page layout. Sisser series interpretation L.13u is therefore correct: only Geesje was the relevant 1695 child.
This means Jan Claesen × Tryntje Straetmaker's complete attested Bergen DRC child roster is just 3 children: Geesje, Claes, Annetje — all at Bergen 1695-1698. Their post-1698 children, if any, would be at Tappan or Hackensack DRC where the family relocated per L.13s. No Daniel appears among their attested Bergen children, but this is also consistent with the Tappan-relocation reading — Daniel Cooper Sr 1695 could have been baptized at a different church, or born after the Tappan move.
Other Generation-2 Cooper-family children attested at Bergen DRC pre-1689
| Date | Parents | Child | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Jan 1679 | Tonis Roelofse × Tryntje Claes (= Tryntie Cooper) | Gerritje | Tryntje's first attested Bergen DRC baptism |
| 11 Oct 1680 | Tonis Roelofse × Tryntje Claes | Roelof | (Cooper-Roelofse 2nd child) |
| 23 May 1687 | Theunis Roelofse × Tryntje Claes | Jannetje | Witnesses Cornelis Roelofsen + Aeltje Bogerts (= her sister-in-law Aeltie Bogert) |
| 12 June 1691 | Gerbrant Claese × Merritje Claes (= Maritie Cooper) | Meyndert | (matches Year Book entry 222) |
| 16 Apr 1696 | Gerbrant Claesen × Merritje Claes | Gerbrant ('10c, 7s' — 10th child + 7th son) | The high birth-order fits a 1674 marriage, supporting Harvey's I.49 p. 36 attestation of "Maritie only daughter of Claes Pietersen Cos" m. 25 Aug 1674 Gerbrand Claesen Garrabrant — which is the COS family. Identification ambiguity between Maritie Cooper and Maritie Cos for Gerbrand Claesen's wife remains open. The 10th-child in 1696 fits Cos (1674 marriage) better than Cooper (1670s+). |
| 1 Oct 1694 | Abraham van Giesen × Feytje Andriesze | Reynier (witness: Andries Claesen + others) | Andries Claesen = adult sponsor, not Cooper-family-confirmed |
| 12 Apr 1684 + 11 Oct 1686 + 4 Oct 1688 | Gerrit Steynmets × Vroutje Claes | Jannetje + Annetje × 2 | Vroutje = Cooper-line daughter wife of Gerrit Steynmets per matriarch-witness pattern at 1688 baptism |
Generation-2 Cooper-family adults attested as baptism witnesses (= alive and active at Bergen) 1687-1700

| 1697 (entry 319) | Cornelis Claesen | adult (married since pre-1689) | Witness at sister Pietertje's son's baptism |
| 1699 (entry 392) + 1704 + 1712 | Geertje Claes | Y.D. / Y.W. then Y.D. then Y.W. | Witness at brother's & nephew's baptisms — confirming Geertje (b. 1678) was unmarried until at least 1712 |

| 1695-1697 (entries 282, 290, 320, 359) | Annetje Cornelis (= Ann Van Vorst, matriarch widow) | Widow of Claes Janse | Witness at multiple children/grandchildren baptisms |
Verbatim — Cooper / Kuyper / Cuyper / Claesen attestations in Bergen DRC baptism register 1689-1770
The register uses 18 formats: entry# / parents / child / witnesses & sponsors. "Y.M." = Young Man (unmarried adult male). "Y.W." = Young Woman (unmarried adult female). "Y.D." = Young Daughter (= unmarried female). Patronymics "Claesen" / "Klaasen" / "Klaas" = "son/daughter of Claes" — identifies kinship to the Claes Jansen Van Permerend patriarch family per I.49 Harvey 1900 + cross-reference attestations.
1689 — Generation-2 Cooper siblings active in Bergen NJ
Entry 199 (1689) — first Cooper-family child baptism
199 Cornelis Clasen × Aeltje Tonissen Boogert → child Claes Witnesses: Jan Clasen and Treyntje Claes wife of Tonis Roelofsen
(= Cornelius Cooper × Aeltie Tonissen Bogert of Tappan baptizing son Claes 1689; with witnesses brother Jan Cooper [Y.M., not yet stated] and sister Tryntie Cooper now wife of Teunis Van Houten. Three Cooper siblings simultaneously attested in one entry.)
Entry 202 (1689)
202 Tonis Roelofse × Treyntje Claes → daughter Vrowtje, bp. 24 June 1689 Witnesses: Jan Claesen, Y.M. and Pietertje Claes, Y.W.

1690 — continued sibling attestations
Entry 214 (1690)
214 Tonis Roelofse × Treyntje Claes → son Johannes Witnesses: Jan Claesen, Y.M. and Pietertje Claes, Y.W. + Tonis Jansen
(= Teunis Van Houten + Tryntie Cooper baptizing son Johannes. Same brother + sister sponsors. Jan still Y.M. = unmarried as of 1690.)
1691
Entry 222 (1691)
222 Gerbrant Claese × Merritje Claes → son Meyndert, bo. 12 June 1691
Entry 226 (1691)
226 Adries Claesen × Preyntje Michielse Vreelant → daughter Zara ('first child'), bo. 16 Sept 1691, bp. Oct 1691
(= Adries / Andrew Claesen baptizing first child Zara. NOT in Harvey's 15-children patriarch list — open identification question.)
Entry 228 (1691)
228 Hessel Pieterse × Elysabet Claes → daughter Vrouwtje, bo. 28 Aug 1691, bp. 5 Oct 1691 Witnesses: Elysabet Gerrits widow of Pieter Hesselse + Cornelis Claes
(= Hessel Pieterse + Elysabet Claes baptizing daughter Vrouwtje. Witness Cornelis Claes (Cooper) = likely Cornelius Cooper sponsor. Elysabet Claes = open identification — could be daughter of Claes Jansen NOT in Harvey's list, OR daughter of different Claes-named father.)
1695 — Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker first attestation as parents
Entry 278 (1695, March) [child name unclear in OCR / per L.13u Sisser attribution = Geesje]
278 Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker → child [name unclear in OCR / per L.13u Sisser series = Geesje, born late March 1695, baptized 14 May 1695] Witness: Catreyna Bevois
(= Jan Cooper × Treyntje Straetmaker first attested as parents at Bergen DRC. Per L.13u Sisser correspondence transcription, entries #278 + #281 are about daughter Geesje b. 26-27 March 1695; per the OCR + footnote-numbering of the Year Book itself, entries 278 + 281 may be DIFFERENT children — one in March 1695 [name unclear] and another in May 1695 [Jacob, see entry 281 below]. High-resolution PDF re-read of book p. 41 needed to definitively resolve.)
Entry 281 (1695, May) — RETRACTED v189
281 [parent line OCR-corrupted in Year Book PDF; previously misread as Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straet → Jacob May 1695]
v189 retraction: per the rootsweb chronological extract above, Jan Claesen × Tryntje Straetmaker had NO May 1695 baptism — only Geesje (March 1695), Claes (Nov 1696), and Annetje (June 1698) at Bergen. Entry 281 in the Year Book PDF was a different couple whose parent column got OCR-merged into the prior entry's header. Resolved by cross-checking against the rootsweb chronological extract.
1696
Entry 290 (1696)
290 Cornells van de Voorst × Fytje Gerrits → son Jde ('At the Hasymus'), bp. 14 April 1696 Witnesses: Gerrit Gerritse Jr. + Annetje Cornells van de Voorst widow of Claesen Jansen
( First widow-attestation: Annetje Cornells van de Voorst (= Ann Van Vorst, sister of Ide Van Vorst per I.49 Harvey p. 161) explicitly identified as widow of Claes Jansen Van Permerend. Date confirms Claes Jansen d. before April 1696 = consistent with Harvey's 20 Nov 1688 attestation.)
Entry 292 (1695) [chronological — out of order in book numbering]
292 Gerbrant Claesen × Merritje Claes → son Gerbrant ('seventh son and tenth child'), bo. 16 April 1695, born at Gamonepa
Entry 308 (1696, November)
308 Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker → son Claes ('Second child and first son. Born at Ahasimus'), bo. 30 Nov 1696
(= Jan Cooper × Treyntje Straetmaker baptizing son Claes Nov 1696, born at Ahasimus = the same locality where Claes Jansen Van Permerend held his 1662 land patent per I.49. Naming pattern 'Claes' = grandson of Claes Jansen Van Permerend. Footnote 'second child + first son' contradicts entry 281 footnote 'third child + second son' — open question.)
1697
Entry 282 (1695) [also, out of order — page-layout dependent]
282 Willem Pereu × Leysbet Sickels → daughter Geesje, bp. 14 May 1695 Witnesses: Jan Straetmaker + Annetje Cornelis widow of Claes Janse
( Ann Van Vorst widow of Claes Jansen as witness to another family's child Geesje. Note Jan Straetmaker = potential brother of Treyntje Straetmaker = brother-in-law to Jan Claesen Cooper.)
Entry 319 (1697)

326 Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker → daughter Annetje ('Third child and second daughter. Born at Ahasymus'), bo. between 29-30 June 1698
(= Jan Cooper × Treyntje Straetmaker baptizing daughter Annetje June 1698. Born at Ahasymus = Cooper-family land tract.)
1699
Entry 341 (1699)

(= Pietertje Cooper [Mrs. Jacob Ralemont] baptizing son with name starting 'D' — possibly Daniel or David. Possibly relevant to Daniel Cooper Sr 1695 hypothesis as a cousin name. Needs high-res page check.)
1700
Entry 352 (1700)
352 Cornelis Claesen × Aeltje Toenis Boogert → daughter Hillegont, bp. 16 June 1700 Witnesses: Cornelis van Voorst + Geertje Claes, Y.W.
(= Cornelius Cooper × Aeltie Bogert baptizing daughter Hillegont 1700. Witness Geertje Claes Y.W. = unmarried Cooper-sister Geertje. 'Geertje' = NOT in Harvey's 15-children list — possibly a 16th daughter, or Dutch dual-name for one of Harvey's listed daughters. Hillegont = same name as Harvey's 'Hellegond' daughter of Claes Jansen — Cornelius naming a daughter after his sister or aunt.)
1712 — first Cooper-name surname-attested baptism
Entry 454 (1712)
454 Hendrik Klaasen Kuyper × Jannetje Verkerke → daughter Annatje, bp. 13 April 1712 Witness: Geertje Klaas Kuyper
(= Hendrik [Henry] son of Claes Cooper × Jannetje Verkerke baptizing daughter Annatje 1712. Witness Geertje Klaas Kuyper = his sister, both attested as 'Klaas/Klaasen Kuyper' = surname formation now stabilized = surname-attested Cooper-family generation. Wife Jannetje Verkerke continues to appear with Hendryck through 1736 entry 555.)
1722
Entry 485 (1722)
485 Gerret Mattheeussen × Catryntje Kuypers → daughter Catryntje ('First child'), bo. 9 Aug 1722, bp. 20 Sept 1722 Witnesses: Cornelis Mattheeussen, Y.M. + Jannetje Mattheeussen, Y.W.
(= Catryntje Kuypers [Cooper] baptizing daughter Catryntje 1722. Catryntje Kuyper here is a Generation-3 Cooper, not the same as Catrina Kuyper at entry 563 [different name diminutive].)
1736 — Sickels-Cooper baptism
Entry 555 (1736)
555 Willem Sickels × Eliezabet Kuypers → son Nicolas ('Second child'), bo. 15 March 1736, bp. 13 April 1736 Witnesses: Hendryck Cuypers + Jannetje Verkerck, his wife
( Primary-source-locks Harvey 1900 I.49 p. 180 narrative: 'His son William, born in October, 1704, married Elizabeth Cooper.' Witnesses Hendryck Cuypers + Jannetje Verkerck = same couple from entry 454 (1712), still together by 1736 = consistent identification. Eliezabet Kuypers = sister of Hendryck Cuypers = daughter of Hendrik Klaasen Kuyper = granddaughter of Claes Jansen Van Permerend = Generation 3 Cooper-line female.)
1737 — Newkirk-Cooper baptism
Entry 563 (1737)
563 Gerret Nieuwkerk × Catrina Kuyper → daughter Jannetje, bo. 5 May 1737, bp. 9 May 1737 Witnesses: Hendryck Kuyper + Sara Kuyper
( Primary-source-locks Harvey 1900 I.49 p. 132 narrative: 'Gerrit Newkirk (2d gen.), born at Bergen November 18, 1696, married September 5, 1730, Catrina, daughter of Hendrick Kuyper (Cooper).' Witnesses Hendryck Kuyper = Catrina's father + Sara Kuyper = Catrina's sister or stepmother. Catrina + Eliezabet [entry 555] + Sara + Annatje [entry 454] = at least 4 attested daughters of Hendrik Klaasen Kuyper.)
1741 — second Newkirk-Cooper baptism
Entry 592 (1741)
592 Gerret van N-Kerk × Catrina Cuyper → son Hendrik, bo. 4 April 1741, bp. 7 April 1741 Witnesses: Johannes Jurryyansen + Zara Cuyper, his wife
(= Same Newkirk × Cooper couple as entry 563, baptizing son Hendrik 1741. Witnesses now Johannes Jurryyansen + Zara/Sara Cooper his wife = Sara Kuyper [from entry 563] now married to Johannes Jurryyansen. Multi-decade tracking confirms identifications.)
1764
Entry 735 (1764)
735 Cornelus Gerbrantse, Jr. × Jannitye van Hooren → daughter Jannetye, bo. 3 Sept 1764, bp. 16 Sept 1764 Witnesses: Hendricus Cuyper + Catrientye Gerbrantse, his wife
(= Hendricus Cuyper × Catrientye Gerbrantse witnessing — likely a Generation-3 Cooper-Garrabrant couple. Hendricus here may be a son or grandson of Hendrik Klaasen Kuyper.)
1770
Entry 797 (1770)
797 Abel de Grau × Maycke Eydestyn → son Cornelus, bo. 9 June 1770, bp. 9 July 1770 Witnesses: Hendricus Kuyper + Catrientie Gerbrans, his wife
(= Same Hendricus Kuyper × Catrientye Gerbrans couple as entry 735, still active witnesses 1770.)

Implications for Daniel-Cooper-Sr-and-Anne parents question
What this register attests (positive findings)
- Generation-2 Cooper siblings actively baptizing 1689-1700 in Bergen NJ. The patriarch's surviving children at this church register: Cornelius (eldest), Treyntje (m. Teunis Van Houten 1678), Pietertje (m. Jacob Ralemont by 1697), Merritje (m. Gerbrant Claesen — but possibly different family per Harvey COS issue), Jan (Y.M. 1689-1690, then m. Treyntje Straetmaker by ~1693-1694, parent of 4 attested Bergen children 1695-1698), Hendrick / Hendrik (parent by ~1700), Geertje (Y.W. 1700, NOT in Harvey's list = potential 16th sibling), plus possibly Adries (unique entry 1691, NOT in Harvey's list = potential 17th sibling) and Elysabet Claes (entry 228 1691 = possible 18th sibling, identification ambiguous).
- Widow Annetje Cornells van de Voorst (= Ann Van Vorst widow of Claes Jansen) active 1695-1697 = primary-source-locks her 1726 death year per I.49 Harvey at the post-1697 lifespan window.
- Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker attested as parents at Bergen DRC 1695-1698. Per L.13s Sisser correspondence, this couple relocated to Tappan and Jan d. before 28 Sept 1706 (his widow Trintie Stratemakers remarried Jacob Eerte at Hackensack DRC then). This couple are the strongest primary-source-attested candidates for Generation-B parents of Daniel Cooper Sr 1695 under the I.49 working hypothesis.
What this register does NOT attest (negative findings)
- No 'Daniel' baptism appears for Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker at Bergen DRC. Their attested children are Jacob 1695, Claes 1696, Annetje 1698, plus 1 unclear-name 1695. Daniel Cooper Sr (b. 1695 per I.36 family tradition) does not appear. Three possibilities remain: - (a) Daniel was baptized at Tappan DRC or Hackensack DRC (not Bergen) 1700-1706 = consistent with the L.13s Tappan relocation; the Bergen register is silent because Daniel was not baptized there. - (b) Daniel was baptized in NYC 1695-1700 = possible if Jan + Treyntje made a NYC trip for the baptism, given L.13q Trintie Kuyppers attested as NYC West Ward householder 1697. - (c) Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker were NOT Daniel's parents — different couple or different surname-line.
- No 'Anne Cooper' baptism c.1685-1690 for any Cooper-family parents at Bergen DRC. If Anne Cooper Van Court was b. ~1689 per project
pr.8 Anne Cooper Van Court sister (RESOLVED).md, her parents are not attested at this church for that birth year. - The footnote-numbering anomaly at entries 281 vs 308 ('Third child + second son' May 1695 vs 'Second child + first son' Nov 1696 for the same couple) is unresolved at OCR level. High-res PDF re-read of book pp. 41-44 needed to resolve.
Net conclusion
This register strongly supports the I.49 Bergen-NJ Cooper-line hypothesis by primary-source-locking the existence of Generation-2 Cooper siblings (especially Jan Claesen as a real adult man, married to Treyntje Straetmaker, with children at Bergen 1695-1698, and concordant with Sisser's Tappan relocation + 1706 death). It does not lock the chain to Daniel Cooper Sr 1695-1795 specifically, because no Daniel baptism appears for this couple at Bergen.
The next step is therefore Tappan DRC + Hackensack DRC baptism registers 1700-1706 — the Tappan relocation window per L.13s. If Daniel Cooper Sr was baptized at Tappan or Hackensack as a child of Jan Klase Kuyper × Trintie Stratemakers, that would close the chain Daniel Sr ← Jan Klase Kuyper ← Claes Jansen Van Permerend.
Catalog corrections required
- Update I.49 "What this opens — research roadmap" point 1 ('Bergen RDC baptisms 1666-1700') with this F.69 finding: Bergen DRC primary-source attests Jan Claesen × Treyntje Straetmaker as Generation-B candidate parents, but no Daniel baptism appears = pivot to Tappan / Hackensack DRC.
- Update L.13u "chronologically rules out" framing if entries 278+281 turn out to be different children (Geesje March 1695 + Jacob May 1695): the prior chronological-exclusion reasoning relied on Sisser's Geesje attribution; the May 1695 Jacob entry weakens that exclusion. High-res PDF re-read needed to confirm which children are at which entries.
- Add 'Geertje Cooper' candidate sibling to the I.49 patriarch's-15-children narrative as an open question — Y.W. attested 1700 + 1712 as 'Geertje Klaas Kuyper' = possibly a 16th child of Claes Jansen NOT in Harvey's list.
- Add 'Adries Claesen' candidate sibling as an open question — 1691 baptism × Preyntje Vreelant attested with surname 'Claesen' = possibly Generation-2 Cooper son not in Harvey's list, or unrelated Claes-family.
