The most substantial Anne-(Cooper)-Van-Court research document on disk — previously a 'ghost source' (cited in 6 entries for only the 14-children count + 1779 death). Now mined: a brother-in-law/sibling-degree logic-tree, a low-grade candidate father 'William Cooper,' and a documented ship-list immigration NULL. [research-tier]

Van Court + Cooper sweep: NULL — zero 'Van Court' in any spelling in any year, zero Coriell/Curiel, and no Daniel or Anne Cooper marriage.

Genealogies 1600–1960 (FS Full-Text, image 161 of 1,338), VAN COURT §100 — the 14 children of Elias × Ann (Cooper) Van Court with baptism witnesses, PLUS a sponsorship-analysis paragraph asserting 'Elias² Senior and Ann (Cooper) Van Court were UNCLE AND AUNT of Samuel² and DAVID² CORYELL' and arguing she was aunt of Abraham² Coryell too. CORRECTED 2026-07-16 (Jenkins p.6 + Santos p.170 read): her aunt-hood is BY MARRIAGE — Abraham¹ Coryell married a Cooper or Van Court sister, per Samuel² Coryell's 1760 will — so Ann stays a COOPER; this does NOT make Daniel a born Coriell and does NOT explain the [pr.16] Y-match. See the top-of-entry resolution.
- I.192 New Jersey. Genealogies 1600–1960 (FS Full-Text, image 158 of 1,338), COOPER §105 — the compiler's Daniel-Sr narrative: b. 1 May 1695 at sea, d. 2 May 1795 aged 100; 'lived at Piscataway until March, 1732'; the six wives; sister Ann 'lived near him in Piscataway'; and the New Brunswick ferry tradition ('he and his sister rowed passengers over the ferry… about 1710'). CAUGHT MIS-CITING BENEDICT — it smuggles '(among them Daniel Cooper)' into a quoted Benedict passage whose five settlers ([I.153]) contain no Cooper. ⇒ a direct reliability check on this compiler, and therefore on [I.191].
